A Better Reality
Last year, I asked my beta what sort of fic she might like for her birthday. Here's what she asked for...
" So, if you feel inspired, what appeals to me is either Spike or Wes. If you pick Spike and want him to be involved with someone, it should be Buffy; if you pick Wes, I don't have any strong feelings about it. I'm open as to whether it's BtVS or AtS, and when, but some of the things I enjoy are Spike irritating Angel (without too much Angel bashing), Spike and Joyce friendship, Wes running Angel Investigations or his own business, Wes or Giles succeeding where the Council fails, and kittens. It could be part of your current storyline, if you'd like. Mood: funny and/or action. Must have a happy ending."
One of the things I didn't manage to include in The Moonlight Gamblers was some Spike and Joyce friendship, so I thought that this year I would rectify that. This acts as a sort of companion fic to 'The Tales of Giles & Anya', covering events that happen in Sunnydale while Anya is elsewhere.
No Fury
Another ficlet for another birthday and again I've set it in what one reviewer termed the Better 'verse. Xander finally finds out where his car went.
Welcome to Sunnydale
Technically, this one belongs in 'The Tales of Giles and Anya' series. However, this is the one fic (so far) where the paths of Giles and Anya cross with those of the other Sunnydale residents. For that reason, I've duplicated it in this side of the 'verse, so that whether you read the Spuffy ones first, all the Giles/Anya ones first, or try to do it in chronological order you can find what you want.
It Came From Outta Nowhere
Jerusha wanted S/B in the Better'verse for her Christmas present, 2005. Set later the same evening as the airport scene in 'Welcome to Sunnydale' from 'The Tales of Giles and Anya' series.
The Little Things
Buffy is still trying to work out just what her relationship with Spike should be, but so far 'friends' is where it's at. Spike takes Buffy round some of Sunnydale's seedier human bars in an effort to get a lead on The Trio.
